Lets start off with a fact, I have a 18 year old brother who is an amazing athlete, and his sports are practically my life! He plays baseball for our school and today was their first playoff game for the state title and they were playing really good! the score was still 0-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning with the other team up to bat. (For those of you that don't know that much about baseball this means that if the other team scores our season would be over and we would lose.) We were doing good until the bases got loaded and some guy hit a grounder out to third base. we got the ball and threw it home and the guy was OBVIOUSLY out. But no. the umpire said he was safe because our catchers foot "wasn't on the base". Which I am telling you now was not true. Even the other team didn't realize what was happening and was in shock! So we lost the game and that was the end of a team who had been playing together since 6th grade. It was sad because it didn't help my week. Oh and want to hear something else funny? the umpires knew they messed up and they had people guard them out to the parking lot and guard their cars because they thought we were going to do something! They also called the cops and they had FOUR cop cars there "protecting" them.
I had districts for track yesterday and it was terrible. I do not normally cry and I cried for an hour after triple jump because I couldn't get my steps right. Oh well! I always have next year. On the bright side since track is over that means that open gyms for volleyball is starting up soon! and I can NOT wait.
Thanks for reading:) please leave your comments on the game
